Grammar Notes
Zarma uses different connectors depending on the place values being joined:
- Between tens and ones: use cindi (e.g., waranka cindi fo = 21)
- Between hundreds and tens (or lower): use nda (e.g., zangu nda waranka = 120)
- Between thousands and hundreds (or lower): use nda (e.g., zambar fo nda zangu hinka = 1,200)
